Karim the Barber a short 2D Animation film produced by the students of Vashi Study Center, Mumbai under the guidance of Mentor Jayasaliyan. The story was concieved by the students about the Character ” Karim the Barber” a socially connected and a person inspired by people like Anna Hajare and national leaders. Karim the Barber in the story extends his commitment to up lift the Nations pride and the charity through treating his customers with a good sense and lending free hair cuts. During the course he becomes popular and was recognized by all the world leaders and celebreties. The film projects a sense of humor by the style it has adopted and used the Rotoscopy as technique to visualize the animation. A 2D film, though it has a very good visual appeal well woven script to suit the given time frame. Also it is very appropriate to the situation and the context.
